Welcome to January 2014 & BS thread

We will have to see if this year runs away as fast as 2013.

Thanks for making a thread Sean, it's been busy around here and I haven't had much down time. Sleep, gift shopping, and work have taken over my life. Hopefully everything will start slowing down and I can get back into the loop.

In regards to the meet, sure we can have one. As for the games and truck show, probably not. I miss all the football games due to sleeping through them and I'm sure the truck show would be on a day I'd have to work.

Sean - the besties are doing ok, the vw was having some issues when I parked it but I think it may have been from getting the engine real hot. I had tried to start it when I left work and it took an hour of trying to get it to run, but when I restarted it to park it where the bronco was, it started and ran just fine. In the broncos case, the brakes still don't work well (making a parts list once I get some money saved), along with a few other issues. One thing I'd like to tackle this spring/summer is the tailgate and Window. If I lower the Window it gets lopsided and jammed up. I know the problem but haven't been able to find a part yet.

It's the plastic slider things on the Window regulator. I've tried the local auto parts stores but they had the wrong ones.

Morning Tim , so far 2014 has been alright. I've got family, my truck, a little bit of money, and no kids... I'm pretty happy . Now if only I had a bit more money, I could order my brake parts in my JBG cart...

It was freezing out last night, there were patches of ice and the mist that was moving around looked like flakes of aluminum in the light. It welt weird to take a deep breath while thinking about that. I wish we had a ton of snow, I really do. As much as people don't like it, I love it.

I happen to like snow. The deeper the better. Helps keep the
ID10Ts off the roads. A mild dusting and they come out. Make it really
deep and most stay home for a few days.

Yup pretty much. Although even if we had like, 6 feet of snow, I bet $10 I'd still have to work..

No, You would get a call telling you to get in and when you spent hours
trying with all the idiots on the roads. Then you walk up to the door and see
the note that they tried to call and tell you to stay home.

The last big snow I know of people that took 8 hours to get home.
They were driving from Kent to up the hill on 180th past the hospital.

I stayed at work and left at 11:00 PM and took the back road instead of
167 up to Canyon Rd and it only took my about 30 minutes more than
normal. 4X4 all the way. I had loaded up some water buckets at work
and so had an extra load of weight in the back of the Ranger. Lets see
20 Gallons of water (160 Lb) and a full tank of gas. So I was doing ok.
Just not being stupid and getting on the gas like the guy in the ditch
I passed. Well I don't know if it was a guy or not the truck looks like
it went in early.

Sean
