Good morning Dustin! Yeah the new thread is pretty tricky to find up there at the top of the thread list!

Good morning Jay! New windows are good! They have a couple left that they were waiting for a nicer day to put in which happens to be today so they should all be in by the end of the day. They have all the siding off and the house wrapped so the new siding will be up next along with the new doors.

It was a great feeling. Until I drove it the first time. The power steering pump was whining bad, intermittent power steering and brakes, and when putting it in reverse, it would hesitate then bog engine down and sometimes stall it. Fortunately just had to get the air out of the pump and top it off and add almost a gallon of trans fluid and seemed to fix that problem. So now it is a good feeling. Didn't think I had lost that much fluid and when I first checked it seemed to register on the stick. I do a slight exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold/up pipe connection on driver side. I think that is fairly easy fix, I didn't tighten up the bolt on each side evenly so it cocked it off to one side more than the other. The up pipes are the dorman bellowed ones. Also have a Riff Raff FRX regulated fuel return to put on that I forgot about.

hopefully start getting the sleds ready this weekend

Good morning everyone. It's a balmy 11* here. Hopefully, it's warm enough I can work on my snowblower again. I was able to use it last week to blow the driveway, but it wasn't running right, so I'm going to pull the carb apart again and clean it really good.

Anyone boiled a carb in water and vinegar? I saw someone post that they boil them for 45 minutes in a water/vinegar solution, clean em out, then boil them in water for 45 minutes again and spray out with carb cleaner and reassemble.

Seems like way too much work Michael. Take it apart as much as possible and sparay every opening you can with carb cleaner. Done.
