Can't you get a whole new glass door for that? We paid just over a grand for French doors in the basement.

I priced the slider and it is like 1600-1800 for the same model. Plus it would half to be ordered as well.

That is to much, I do estimates and installs every day on glass repair just like yours. Been doing it for over 30 years and that should cost between $400 and $500 install. the new insulated unit should cost you about $250 to $300 and labor should be around $150 to $180.00. and my shop is a union shop. lead time is about 2 weeks. should only take about 1 hour for 2 guys with clean up.
Ask for a revised price for only tempered glass without the R40 gas or low-e coating. If you have any questions shoot me a PM and hope this is helpful.

What you thinking about getting Brandon?

Ah i want a new pistol so bad. Need something in a smaller platform.

On a side note to guns my new safe showed up Monday and is sitting in the garage. One good thing about there being no door on the basement is i can get a few buddies to come over and we can wheel it right in.

Sig Sauer P320 in full size. love my M&P Shield and planned on a full size M&P9 with an Apex trigger as the next one, but that Sig is so sexy...

Who did you get the quote from Andrew? What brand and size gun safe? I need to get one before the stairs are in for the basement.

Twin bay and glass doctor. Twin bay came in with the lower quote and customer service was 10x better than glass doctor.

Its a 33long+6pistol sports afield safe on the cheaper side but has good fire rating.
