Yes to fuel and it had oil in it. Don't forget she was only seeing 54.8 psi while cranking on the hpo. Ebp with key on engine off was 14.8 iirc. This isn't my first rodeo but I know a few of you guys drive 6.0s and its no big deal since its not mine and is at the dealership. I just wanted to make sure I covered my above basics. A 6.0 is new to me as most of my knowledge is 7.3 but since the 6.0 and 7.3 are so closely related I figured I'd be close. I'm wondering if it's a low pressure oil problem

here is the link for the checklist I use. basically for the HPO it is only 3-4 things but all of them are troublesome.

I'll be sending that to my buddy, thanks. I forgot we did verify on the factory gauge that he did have pressure

I've not read anything on the lpop having an issue unless there is something major wrong in the engine, bearing failure, metal shavings messing it up. The check valve on the housing is another story, it can fail causing low oil pressure.

In the 7.3 world it's not exactly a common thing for a low pressure pump to go out but when it does it kills oil to the hpop, obviously. Well see what the verdict is when it's out it the shop

That's because the 7.3 world is cool. And our trucks appreciate in value in factors that are unfathomable by most mathematicians.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

My truck doesn't have a sunroof and I'm not removing the cab.

This falls into the early comments of you making up stuff while drinking again. LOL

Making stuff up has nothing to do with drinking.

Only seeing 54psi is quite low and is indicative of a rather large leak in the HPO system. I've been there a few times and feel your pain. What year truck?
