I can tell you from experience, buying already done is much less stressful then building.

Rich if you haven't found a builder yet I can give you my dad's number.

And it's much easier to buy built than new and remodel. So as you smash through a wall you can think, "this was someone's dream once."

Would he come over this way to build? They have a "preferred builder" network that they use.

it's going to be a 32X48, 12' ceiling with 2 overhead doors and one entry door. steel roof and steel siding. Ask him what he would charge. The land is really flat where it's going, I just need to get the trees and stumps out and add in some fill sand. he would not have to do any excavating.

Rich it doesn't seem like he'll have a problem coming out there (He doesn't know exact hours on drive yet though, just knows you're on the west side.)

But he's going to work some numbers up in the next few days he said.

Good morning all. The ***** should be done mid summer if all goes right. I'm on the hunt for a front Ford Dana 60 with 4:10s and will be making a purchase next month. Keep your eyes out and PM me if you find anything

That mount took me about 6 hours to make! I bolted it to an 1/8" plate then bolted the plate to the bed frame. The blue thing is a fuel cell I picked up for a good price. It's just sitting in there. I have plans for that. I'll admit about 2 months went by without touching the truck at all! Currently I'm on day 16 of 24 straight and throwing my hands up and only working 8 hours today, yesterday's 14 hours day was rough. My wife and I are having a date night tonight.... Going shopping for parts for it at the junk yard!! Haha haha!
The dome light is fine, I plan to take a lot of extension cords with me when I take it out.
I also bought axles, for sure the rear needs to be lengthening for now. I'm also using the old condenser as a trans cooler it's mounted in the picture too on the radiator. My daughter and I installed a reverse manual valve body a couple weeks ago. A friend of mine and I put in a high stall converter... It's coming along

I almost bought another ******. I have to call guy today and tell him I'm not going to

I think we all enjoy it, one of the reasons we create new projects. Or fine tuning existing ones. I seem to keep myself so busy with house projects that I don't have time for vehicle projects. Could be the lack of space for the vehicle projects also. idk

Don't forget the GTG on Sunday if you can make it.
