That sucks John. I suppose you work in a non-A/C environment too?

Which reminds me... last weekend coming home, I passed a Dodge crew cab dually pulling the tiniest little pop up trailer... mirrors up.

I think the mirrors automatically go up when there is a hitch in the receiver.

If anything its heated add 30 degrees minimum to the outside temp. It's great during the winter in some spots.
That's a fact they go up automatically lol

I guess that explains all the Dodges pulling ghost trailers with mirrors up...

That's the only thing I can figure on it. I am also guessing that if we don't see a hitch in the receiver that it must have a fifthwheel hitch in the bed that can't be see easily

Or maybe just having the rails themselves in the bed cause the erection?

That's what I am thinking. Maybe it is just any extra weight in the back. Like a back of potato chips or something heavy like it......

If you're going to try to haul potato chips in a Dodge, I'm pretty sure you need to add duals and air lift bags.

Apparently a goose neck doesn't cause the erection lol my mirrors stay down until she's loaded.
I haven't really had to pull anything with the dodge that weighed over a few thousand pounds. The load of wet hard wood and trailer loaded with wood and how much it squatted didn't impress me much....
