The blue start up smoke is kind of normal with the 6.0 I hate it but I have learned to live with it. Mine does it, and not all the time either.

Nope, I'm DD until we hit a brewery or find a place that has cider. LOL

 

Ya this is more white then blue I think. It is only first start in the morning. Oh well my delta still look good and my FICM is still good. Ill just keep an eye on it.

I would not stress too much about that. my FICM is all over the place still, one start it will be up at 49, the next it might be at 47 and drop to 46 for a second.

I really need to get that and the big alternator and start gathering the rest of the headgaskets parts.

Rich, shop foreman had a good one today that you can use for your ex......Mommy mullet....

 

Customer: No indication of any problems in cluster, saw heavy white smoke coming from car and pulled over, stalled and would not restart.

This was the half of a coil pack. The other was melted/stuck around the plug.


The last fault triggered (which the vehicle continued to run after this point), the data logged showed the coolant temp at 290° (Temp gauge is only capable of reading 250° iirc), Vehicle going 80mph and active low coolant warning.
This job would be so much less entertaining if not for stupid people.....
