Good the hear Andrew!
I added another truck to my fleet yesterday. Found a 92 f150 with a plow on it. Lucky for me I have all the parts for a solid axle swap when I swap the frame. Can't justify the 9" for it as it has a 8.8 from a 96 bronco with posi in the rear!
Looks like I'll be plowing some driveways to pay for this thing. Lmao

I've been playing with the idea of getting a plow for the truck. I've got a buddy that has a boss for his 2002 that doesn't get much use anymore. The last time he used it, the control stick wasn't working right and he couldn't get the plow to seat to the mount easily. He's probably ready to get rid of it....I'd need a different mount, right? Aren't the fronts of the leaf sprung '02 different than the coil sprung '05?
On a different note, I picked up a Pioneer touchscreen DVD player for the truck. The Bluetooth works well for phone and iPod. I'm impressed and only gave $100.
The OEM radio has been turning off randomly and that makes for not-so-fun road trips with the family. Junior is getting to the age of watching TV and I'll now have the ability to play DVD's in the back when I install monitors in the headrests. I looked into it and it's actually a lot easier than I thought. The SD seats make it pretty easy to run a monitor despite the fact that the headrest is integrated into the seat back.
I saved some coin and wired it in myself. I wired in the steering wheel control module as well as the parking brake bypass so the DVd's will play while moving.

Sounds like a good deal Jim.
Just so you know Jay installs/services BOSS plows at his place of employment. Also has snow way experience.
And yes, you will need a new under carriage for your truck.
