None of it made any sense at all. I contacted them because I was at a complete loss and so we're they.

So you were not at pressure, but tripping the overload? Is this machine an oil less motor unit?

Check valve perhaps?

Yep. Oil less. Check valve is in perfect working order. I figured for what I paid for it and how much I used it I got my money out of it. 26 gallon tank at 200 psi for $300 plus a bunch of tools. It was hard to argue with.

My compressor does that as well. Will just randomly shut down when not up to pressure and you have to mess with it or just let it sit for like 30 min before it will try and kick back on.

Anybody else? Got quoted $250 per door to repair, drivers side front(pictured) is the worst. The body shop said it'll come back in a few years due to a poor design by Ford.

Good one Andrew

At least you can't put your hand inside the door from the bottom... I picked up a SET of rust free doors when I was out in Phoenix for $250... For both! The average price around here was $550 per door

The only way to save the door is have the factory running board and wash the truck at least once a week in the winter. I have to get mine done this year, and after I regrade my body guys new shop and help him get the yard planted he'll owe me...lol

I'm not going to say our doors are any better or worse than most other vehicles. Vehicles up here all rust.......
Looking forward to aluminum myself.

This truck has lived its whole life in the cold weather. I'm surprised it looks as good as it does.

yeah rust is so frustrating. i promised myself my next (so, my current) truck would be from out of state, but had to do the trade i did given the terms of the deal.. maybe the next one.

i am currently trying to decide if i wanna put money into fixing my rust on this truck. my cab corners are going, common on my truck, but more due to the high mount brake light seal leaking and water pooling in the cab corner. can get them for $50 on ebay. also the other common place, the bedside below the fuel door. really would love to have the whole truck coated, since i'm coming to realize the paint was pretty badly neglected.. and it shows.
