Great weekend! I was in Muncie Indiana for the youngest graduation.

We came home Saturday. Then off to holland to drop off the top from parts bronco then to Andrews to drop off socket and grab gun, then off to Saranac to make a swap for a Hobart 2510 mig welder!!

Good weekend indeed!!

Bronco driveshaft won't fit with the new axle so I can either get it shortened and be able to drive it or wait until the truck is lifted so the stock shaft will fit.

If my weekends weren't already occupied Andrew I'd give you a hand.

Anybody interested in a scan gauge with the blend mount that attaches to the rearview mirror?

Great weather this weekend for a little off road fun. Torr met up with me and the group for food and beverages Saturday evening as well.

I thought this was excellent foresight of the planners of the jeep blessing to put a reliable recovery vehicle on point for the most difficult trail.

One thing that did stand out to me in the vendor area was almost all the tow rigs were Ford's. Was expecting to see more dodges due to corporate affiliation I guess.

Question for you Rich?
What's your opinion of Goodyear marathons for trailers? The China bombs on our gooseneck are dropping like flies. Lost one in March, another two this weekend (still holding air, but round is not a word I'd use to describe them). Debating mentioned Goodyear's or perhaps some g rated Sailun S637.

after blowing out carlisles left and right on the toy hauler (two in one trip once), i got the boat knowing it needed trailer tires, so after much reading and talking i went with the marathons. so far i'm a fan. i looked up and down the internet for the best price and ended up getting them from discounttiredirect.com.. $339 for four.

curious to see if the RV cord works for you rich, we wired my garage for 220 last year and i finally got a generator, so i need to make a cord so i can backfeed the panel when the power goes out.

I just put a set of Freestar tires on my car trailer. I went up to a D rated tire, it called for a C rating. I paid $300 mounted and balanced. The tires are ok, looks to be a marathon knock off. For your trailer Chad I would definitely go to a G rated tire, most of the stress on a trailer tire is while turning, the harder side wall will help a lot. The G614 is a really good tire!

For the 220 line, I really only need a 3 wire. The 50 amp cord for RV is 4 wire, I am only running the 2 hots and a ground. I just need to be able to carry the load, 8-3 wire should be perfect. I need to do a little more research, I have a couple really heavy extension cords ( commercial duty) I just need to find out if it is 10g or 8g wire in there. I know the 50 amp RV cords are 8g wire.
