I may have located the perfect thing to do a body swap on. 78 Bronco with a 460, I've got to figure out what axles it has in it. What I don't use I can sell to my boss who has one.

44s going to have to go away, the 9" should be ok for now. My plan is only 38s for now, until I free up some more money and get a little nuts power wise and add some 5:38s

That 44 can be built to handle it. I'm running over 600hp through mine.

My biggest problem is that the Bronco is 4 hours away from me, that's some serious time and effort to invest without hearing it run. I guess "it needs a starter and an ignition wire got hot and needs replaced"

I'll have wiring harness bits from the one I am getting Wednesday. Also have alternators and stuff, besides you'll want to upgrade to an msd over the factory ford stuff. Mine is also a high torque starter with the solenoid on it instead of the fender.

So there is a beer holder where the solenoid used to be?
