that's how it goes!

everyone have a good weekend? i figured out at least part of my vacuum issue on the truck this weekend. pulled the vacuum reservoir box out from behind the battery and it was all busted up.

new one will be here tomorrow, but in the mean time i tried to glue it back together in hopes of improving my symptoms (grinding IWE's under load, rough idle, hesitation when taking off moderately, occasional stumble when starting), but no change. still have hope new one will clean all that up, but if not i'm going to need to find a vacuum/pressure tester and dig deeper.

Hope it will work out for you Brandon.

Hard to believe it's Monday already. This weekend is going to be interesting, I'm going to help my buddy on his show truck. Which by coincidence is supposed to be at Autorama in Detroit when we meet up there on March 7

I think I'm the only guy here with a DEF equipped truck, but just in case any of you buy one, Mercedes now has protective covers for use when servicing your DEF system.

If you're wearing that, how are you supposed to turn beer into urea and properly dispense it into the DEF tank?

I would definitely pay the $10. I see more traffic enforcement by MSP near the bridge than anywhere else. Always sitting at the bridge watching....

The bridge brings up another good point. The cost is per axle. Might be quite the shock to cross. $10 for a normal van if it's commercial.

The permit will be a must for me. I'm not that concerned about the commercial cost, that would only come into play if I was hauling for hire. Being a private owner, it should be a non issue.

Thanks for the heads up though Torr.

That was just an example to relate that it won't be $4 like a car.

I seen a 5th wheel flat bed trailer yesterday for sale near me. Didn't see how long it was or a price, but I'm betting not as cheap as a motor home frame.

What kind of show truck does your friend have Rich? I'd sure like to get my bronco done as a show truck, but one can only dream for now.

Also how much would you guys pay for a NEW tailgate? Because JBG is advertising $950 for my 97', but it doesn't have any description. Pickup Tailgate 1992-97-Broncograveyard.com

I have a louvered 5th wheel tailgate and with the cover on the bed it makes having the cover on it useless for the first 2 feet of the bed.
