Me and Brandon were taking oneish at Texas roadhouse or hooters, depending on group size, in Lansing.

 

well it takes about 2 hrs. from here to get to Lansing pick a place so gps can get me there. also need address.

That is the Texas roadhouse. Hooters is on the same stretch if this ends up a bigger group.
I'm just meeting up with Brandon to give him some tires, eat lunch, then onto cabela's. It would be great if you came up but I don't want you to feel miffed that you drive all that way for a quickish lunch. Brandon just texted 2 o'clock it's fine, so you have time to get there!

So Rich I was over in the bronco thread and saw that you are talking about restoring the '79, when is this project going to start?

 

I'm bringing a frame home from Alabama in a few weeks. I'll start building the chassis up over the summer, then maybe next year I'll get the body switched over and the bottom of the body painted.

Yep kind of what've been thinking. It can even rotate locations. Something down by you guys, then something by the west side, something North.

I'm pretty sure we can find eating establishments to hang out at.

I'm thinking i want to do Woodward this year for the cruise too, maybe we can see how many Fords trucks war can through in a group to cruise.

 

thanks again for the tires chad. set one next to my current ones last night and they're not as much taller than i thought, which is good. need to figure out what/how much balance beads i need now.

was almost home and my brakes were surging real bad; got home and all i could smell was brakes and my right rear wheel was hot to the touch. pulled the wheel off and the caliper seemed fine... slides were in great shape and moved well, pads are brand new, and i was easily able to push the caliper in with a C clamp. parking brake didn't show any signs of hanging. any ideas?

Cruising Woodward would be nice, too bad my bronco won't be ready in time to be the "nicer" one on the cruise between my 2 trucks.
