No offense but that looks like a hack job, but Im not a 64 guy so I cant help you on this one.

Im sure someone can jump in and help you on this one.

Ad me to No Offense, but as ND posted drivers side manifold = 223, last used in 64, passenger side manifold 240/300 first used in 65.

We are not here to kick dirt on your shoes, but there is some confusion on your truck.

Guys the photo bucket reversed and flipped the picture. Why I don't know. The manifold is on the drivers side. Lol

Your 64 column went through the floor, the 65+ columns go through the firewall.

It looks like someone drilled a hole in your firewall and stuck the column through.

Here is a pic of my 66. Notice the mounting plate on the firewall for the column to pass through. The plate holds the column securely and reinforces the firewall.

the crossover under engine looks like its a 65 frame
does the cab have a step?
does the vin on the frame match the title ?

looks like maybe this is a hybrid
can you post the vin on the frame
just wonder what the tranny is and the rear engine mounts

It is a 65 frame as stated in my original post. It's a 63 body

the engine mounts are different from 64' to 65' so are the crossmember I would think that with a 65 frame you could do a p/s but the cab could cause a problem send a pm to garbz he knows a lot about these trucks
can you post some more pic the front end, the tranny and inside of cab

I can but it's zero here in upstate ny. Too cold to go out to the garage and do it. Bad enough I have to work outside all day in it. I will this weekend

I can get everything I need. Just having a hard time finding the double crankshaft pulley fir my 223

yes that is why more pic and info is needed to help have you got step at the inside of cab
sorry about the cold on the rt side of the country its 70 here on the lt side

Yes I have a step. It's a 63 cab. Some guys I heard run it all off one belt. I would think it may slip?
