Hi Fellow EX drivers,

Has anyone here tried to install one of these grilles on their Ex? I think one of them would look sweet on my white '05, 6.0L, EB 4x4 Excursion.

If so, was there much fabrication or changes necessary to make it fit or is it a simple "Remove & Replace event"?

An '05 grill from an SD will fit an '05 EX.

 

it will also fit a pre '05 ex with a '05 bumper on it, or by trimming the bottom of the grill shell to clear the pre '05 bumper.

Today the grille doesn't thrill me as much....... maybe on a black truck, but not so much on a white one..... but I'm not so sure it looks $550 good.

that is hideous!

is it even a full grille? it sounds like they send you the mesh and the center part, and you retain your factory chrome surround

either way...yuck...especially for $500+.

 

If I had to pick something that I hate about my Ex... its the front grill. To the best of my knowledge, (very limited no one makes one that doesn't suck.

Something like the grill of Government Motors LTZ.

Zero chrome works for me.
