NY January 2014 BS Thread
Well is seems like every year I start the January thread pretty much the same way by stating that it is hard to believe that we are at the end of another year and looking at starting a fresh new one. There has been a lot of good times and bad times that we have endured this past year. My wish to everyone is to have a safe and very Happy New Year!
As we traditionlly do so, let us raise a glass to celebrate a new beginning. So grab a chair, some food and a beverage and come sit by the fire with friends and family.......... Let the BS begin for 2014
Here is wishing everyone a Happy New Year !!!!
Happy 2014 to All !!!
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne?
Chorus:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp!
And surely I'll be mine!
And we'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
We twa hae run about the braes
And pou'd the gowans fine.
We've wandered mony a weary foot,
Sin' auld lang syne.
We twa hae sported i' the burn,
From morning sun till dine,
But seas between us braid hae roared
Sin' auld lang syne.
And ther's a hand, my trusty friend,
And gie's a hand o' thine;
We'll tak' a right good willie-waught,,
For auld lang syne.

Why thank you Charlie....lol. Actually, I have been thinking about learning how to play the pipes as it is part of my heritage. I guess there is something to the feel of sqeezing the living crap out of a bag that is placed between your arm and body that produces some wicked high pitched noises

Happy new year everyone! Sorry I'm not here often but I am making good progress organizing my shop. Got a tent set up for my F350 to work on the cold. added heated seats in the F150 and driver and passenger switch for dome light (cheaper than replacing door switches), replaced the frozen thermostat + gasket + thermostat housing when I cracked the old one because the new thermostat fell a bit and I tightened it on it.
Hoping to finish clearing out the car port (belgian blocks) so the F350 will fit all the way in and get a kerosene heater going. Then add a switch for the reverse lights on the F150 and get a battery tender on the F350 tomorrow as well as move the firewood inside for my mom.
Highly considering this: http://jniolon.classicpickup.com/enginestand/BDES.html
And hopefully picking up some lexan to finally replace the rear window in my bed cap and remount my maglite on the passenger side dash trim piece after the original mounts pulled out.
Took the F350 out on monday to de-rust the brake rotors. Sure felt good to drive her again missed the sound of diesel.
Apologize for the long update, will try to get on here more often.
