Back in 1966 my great grandfather bought a brand new 1966 Ford F-100 Custom cab with the 300 I6 and 3 on the tree trans. After he passed away, my dad drove it for a while. My parents divorced, so dad stopped driving it (was technically my moms truck.) It sat at my grandmas old house without anybody touching it for quite a few years. A tree fell on the house and I decided that I wanted to go get the truck out of there. I went to go look at at it the cab had been pushed in pretty good (don't have any pics as I was pretty mad.), the hood was folded over backwards, and the VIN plate had been removed from it. So now it still site out there with trees and bushes grown up around it.
I have seen Much worse come back to life ! You just need to decide what you want it to be . Restored , drivable , parts truck , lawn ornament . Best of luck !
Rebel, I suggest you pause, reflect, then walk away.
Leave it be.

I've thought about that. I would love to go in and at least pull parts off of it, but to get to it is a pain and the last time I went out there to it, the condition had gotten worse (the cab being pushed in more) and I would have to spend quite a while back there just trying to clear a trail to it and I don't want to have to explain to the police what I'm doing back there since I have no way to prove my story to them of why I would be tearing a truck apart on the property.
+ one on the trim, I'm looking for the piece of trim that runs beneath the gas cap if its the right price, Its for my 65 which is my daily so the condition is just about right
