Just wondering... Aside from the trim panel on the outside of either seat, are these interchangeable? As in use a passenger seat from one vehicle as the drivers seat in another?

 

I know on both my KR and previous EB, the insides of the lower seats had cloth on them (facing the console). Would not look good facing out...

 

My seat leather covers are good... Its the drivers cushion and something with the track or motor that is popping; the seat shifts slightly. Mostly an annoyance as far as the track but it might be easier to grab an entire seat than individual parts. Since passenger seats get used less, I thought this would be a good source.

 

The seats are not the same left to right as the seat mounts are at different heights and shapes. meaning the console side mounts up higher (shorter bracket) than the door side. Take a good look under you'll see what I mean. I found this out when my Navi had the same problem as yours. Turned out the left rail gear had failed and wouldn't move. I found discontinued rail online and was able to repair without having to replace the entire base. Try your dealer to look up the rail half as their look up is probably better then the pics i found in online catalogs.
