Question Searching For Parts

Gentleman I am in need of a set of rear lower shock mounts . Our truck does not appear to have had any installed from the factory . It's a Mercury version of the F3 . The mounts I have seen are built into the spring U bolt clamps. Does anyone have a spare set available for sale .

Normally F-3s don't have rear shocks. The F-2 lower mounts, that were standard, were optional on F-3s. Am I right that the F-2 model wasn't sold in Canada? I've parted out a couple F-2s, but sorry that the lower mounts already found new homes. Stu

I have the mounts off of a 52 F1. They look great and if you would like I will send them to you and when you get them just send me back 30.00 to cover the parts and shipping cost. if that sounds good send me an address and I will get them off to you. Here are some pictures of them.

The rear shock mounts are different between F1 and F2/3 trucks. The F1 are smaller than F2/F3 and will not work on thicker rear axle of the F2/F3.

I parted out two 52 F3s recently and both had the rear shock mounts, uppers and lowers. The first set went to aussiecowboy for his F3 and I'm saving the other set to hopefully use in my 51 when I install the 9" rear.

With so many F2/3s popping up recently, and most being modified, I'm sure that you'll find a set.

Roger <> Roger

Sorry couldn't resist!

I have a 9" rear end laying in the garage waiting to go under the F-1 and a pair of those 3" mounts here somewhere? There may have been a second pair but will have to dig around a bit to see. people have started to call me a packrat lately so I guess I better start selling something

I'll see if I can scare up an extra set of those brackets.

Josh - Jeff B is gonna call you about your 8-22.5s. You might at the same time ask if he has a set of these he'd part with. Stu
