So here's an update; I ended going with the rack and pinion kit, as the basic PS kit would not allow me to keep my three on the tree. The R&P had its challenges in keeping my OEM column shifter, but my mechanic figured it out, even though the manufacture of the kit told him there was no way in making that work. Never challenge my guy, as it only motivates him more. Well, the project is complete. I now have a nice steering set up, and kept my shifter on the tree. Next will probably be disc brakes.
