Looking for '48-52 front end parts

A friend is looking for some parts for 48-52 F1 front spindles, or whole front axle? Anyone know of any in AZ?

I have one with a recent king pin replacement disc brakes and a 1" tie rod. I'm in GA though. The discs have gotten a bit rusty, but I think they could be cleaned up. The bolt pattern is the truck pattern of 5" or 5 1/2, can't remember the exact measurement, fits the late 60's early 70's trucks. I can get some pics if you're interested.

The axle came out of a 49' F1, the tie rod is solid and the tie rod and ends are practically new. The 9" is for another project, here's some pics.

I will send my friend the pics? How much do you want for it? I think shipping is going to kill the deal though... He's looking for something where he can go pick it up... But I will let him make that call! Thanks and I'll let you know what he says too

Yes, I think shipping would kill the deal! How much of it would he be interested in? There's a lot there. May be cheaper by the piece to ship? I'll send a PM.

He only needs both spindles. May want the disk brakes if they are 5x5.5 lug spacing. How much and how close to a Greyhound are you (cheapest way to ship normally)?

just as another option if the other one doesn't pan out. I've got a 48-52 F-2 chassis I'm likely going to be pulling apart soon. I hate scrapping the frame etc but its got to go somewhere eventually.
I think the spindles are the same F-1 through F-3? I know the axles are the same.
located in Salt Lake if that's any closer!

Salt Lake is definitely closer. I'm 60 miles from the closest Grey Hound bus stop, at-lest I think it's still in operation in Atlanta.

jmadsen,

Do you have a price in mind for the spindles? I wish you were closer because we could use the whole frame? Hate to see them not be used! Are you near a Greyhound Bus Station? I hound that it's the cheapest way to ship heavy things.

Moe
