1975 Ford F350 Rollalong RV

Hi I'm looking at buying a 1975 F350 Ford Rollalong RV.

I was wondering if anyone on here has any thoughts on early ford rv's like the rollalong.

One thing I liked about it was that the front end is more truck than rv, which means that working on it should be easier.

I had a 69 F350 cab and chassis that was built up with a 10' Utility bed, and a 12' Alaskan camper, it was a nice truck..........take a look at the door plaque, it should list this as an "incomplete vehicle" or cab and chassis.......Yeah, they look cool with the truck, rather than RV style or van style front end.......all the chassis components and driveline SHOULD simply be a heavy GVW F350,and im assuming dual rear wheels...

You still have that beast? I did a lot of work to mine before I sold it. Wish I still had it. SORT OF.

Take a look at the door plaque (Warranty Plate), it should list this as an "incomplete vehicle" or cab and chassis. .
Only the VIN contains this info. It's not stamped on the Warranty Plate nor printed on the Safety Standard Certification Label, glued to the left B pillar below the striker plate.

The 1st 3 digit of the VIN is the series code. F37 = 1973/79 F350 2WD Cab & Chassis; F38 = 1979 F350 4WD Cab & Chassis.

Hate to drum up an older thread but....

We just bought this. It's actually in pretty good shape. We have to rebuild the front near the windows and then the back trunk. I was hoping someone may have a pdf owners manual of the house unit. I have the truck OM and one for the Thetford Toilet lol. I posted a similar question in this forum on a different thread. I'm happy to take photos and post or give any info I have. It's a 1973 26 foot Roll-a-Home. Also, What is the hole in the grill for? A horn or something? Thanks for any info.

Do you see any non factory looking holes in the radiator support? Probably help you figure out what went there or if it's just been broke off. Whether it's been cut or broke could also indicate something. This thread makes me want one of these!

Looks like it was broken out. I was only asking cause the one at the top of this thread looks to have the same "feature".
