'66 dash speaker size?
My '66 came with a padded dash with no screw-on grille but of course the stamped grille in the dash. I stripped the pad off and intend to put a speaker under the grille. What size was the original speaker?

Thanks, Red. You will have seen that I asked this question before. Recently I tried a 5x7 and it seems not to fit. I'll try a different brand.
