wrecked F-250 7.3 SC Lariat

Lucky is all I have to say for myself. Blacked out at about noon last saturday leaving the hardware store. Spent 3 days in the hospital trying to figure what the deal was. Healthy otherwise, runner, biker, golfer, 10% body fat etc.. not a drinker, smoker etc..
Instead of heading into traffic, slowly, my F-250 headed toward a muddy construction site, hit a couple of inanimate objects and came to rest with the front wheels hanging over a newly dug basement wall. I only carry liability, so I have a little project on my hands. Both the front LTX's popped on a 5"concrete abutment. Thanks to the EMTs and Tow guys, they saved my bacon

What would you do if you were sourcing the parts?

Glad you are ok. Scary deal. I would check craigs list in your area for used parts. In my area there is almost always a couple of people parting out ford trucks/suv's. Cheaper way to get the trim & finish pieces for sure & you might be able to obtain some good used mechanical parts to get your truck back on the road.

So happy to hear you're ok. God was watching over you for sure. Good luck with the repairs.

Certainly could have been worse. Lots of super duty stuff can be had new aftermarket as well. Perhaps a used fender and aftermarket parts for a '05 conversion. Definitely a good front suspension inspection as well.
