Hey guys i have a 2005 6.0 f250... Anyone know the battery cable size for the positive cable- the one from starter to battery and also battery to other battery?

Going to build you own?

It's hard to get a size on the cable without striping
or cutting it. They don't stamp the cable like they
would with raw cable on the insulation.

Best guess the cables are likely 4 to maybe even as small as a 5 gauge. If you are doing cables I would do something along the lines of 2 or better. If you run a big alternator, a double 0 or zero is preferable for the charge line to the first (passenger side) battery. I don't have a gauge to measure mine but that's what I recall looking at wire locally. You might even want to run an extra ground strap from alternator to frame on passenger side, again, this one should be 00 or 1 gauge if a big alternator. Just my opinion, others will chime on here too.
