How to tell measurements on a camshaft

Well I bought a cam with a set of fenders because it was kind of a package deal. He told me it is an rv cam and is pretty agressive. I don't know anything about cams to be honest. How do I measure it and tell if it would be good for my 360FE? Any help and general information would be appreciated!

You can look for a part number and see if you can then do a Google search for that to identify it.

If it were me I would mount in in a set of "V" blocks and then bolt a degree wheel to it and then mount a dial gauge to read the lift, duration, lobe separation, etc.
