I have 1995 Ford f250 with the 7.3L powerstroke and am wanting to put a ts performance chip in it. I have an intake and a 5 in exhaust from under the passenger seat back! And I am wanting to put a round down pipe in it, should I put a 3 our 4 inch downpipe in? At this point I don't plan to put bigger injectors in but if they would go bad I would prob put bigger ones in? What is you guys opinion?

 

Put a 3" diamond eye in. There are a few write up around. 4" will not fit without beating the firewall in a lot. A 3" will need a little work.

 

Is a 3 inch big enough even if I would put on a bigger turbo?

 

Yes it is.

 

I would suggest spending a little extra and get the stainless steel diamond eye exhaust vice the matte black.

 

A 3" DP will support over 500hp
