If for no other reason than resale.
My Uncle had one that was so rusty
that when he got drunk and hit a tree the
only thing left that was recognizable was him
and the rear end.
It was a rag top also. So they turn to rust on
the coast of Washington. What a waste.

Just found a PM from somebody in Australia who thinks he now owns my old '53. The guy who bought it was from British Columbia, and I know he later sold it when he got married and had a baby. I saw it listed on a site called 'bring a trailer.com'. I'm thinking they would have to 'bring a barge'. I gave him some clues about what to look for, and hoping to confirm for him. It was a totally unmolested original. Even down to the ford script spark plug wires. Still working on my lyrics not that easy!

Always good to hear from you Garry! Those Jammies have achieved legendary status even from those who haven't seen them in person. Better stop talking about them or our friend Boblo Picasso will start drawing pictures again! Hope you and the family had a great Christmas.
