Mud/snow tires on stock suspension w/ 20" rim?
I'm a fan of BFG AT/KOs, but i'm not stuck with them.
I have a 2012 short box, crew cab, 4x4 Lariat with 20" rims. I'd like to get a little bit taller tire than the Michelins that are on it now and definitely wider.
Anyone have larger-than-stock tires on their 20" rims and what is the width/height they've gone to before rubbing? It took two sets of tires before I got satisfied with the 16" rims on my 2004 powerstroke, so i'm hoping to cut that down a bit.
Pics would be awesome....
Thanks, guys!

I have a friend with an 11 KR lb all stock and he runs GY duratracs in the winter and loves them. They are studded and only on for about 5 months a year. he is on his 2nd winter with them and they still look good. I am a BFG fan all the way, If I could get them in my size that's what Id be running. Sorry no pics but a lot of guys on here are running the GY's

I run a 325/65R18 Goodyear Duratrac without studs and I love them. I had 325/65r18 BFG A/Ts on my F150 and the Duratracs are 10 times better in the winter imo. They come in a 325/60R20 which is a 35.4x13 but they'll rub the radius arm because mine do. If you dont want to rub the radius arm I wouldn't go any wider than a 295, just maybe a 305 might not rub but I cant answer that for sure.
Here is a pic of my truck on 325/65R18s with stock suspension

Thanks for the info, guys, exactly what i'm looking for.
Any idea how the 295/65/20 Nittos look on the truck? do they look a bit too-much?

Not a great picture, but it was all I could find in a hurry. This is my F350 with a 2" leveling kit and 295/60/13 Terra Grapplers. 295/65/20 come in about 3/4" taller. My 295/60s are real close to the same height as the 275/65/20 Michelins that came on the truck..
The look is a little skewed because I didn't let the air out of the bags at the campground so the rear is sitting probably 2" higher than it should.

I'm running stock sized duratracs on the stock 20" rims. Living in so cal I doubt I will see much snow or mud but lots of desert. Since they are only a month old I have had a chance to go off road yet but soon. They were a bit wired at first but now I have a couple hundred miles on them they run better then they did new.
