2WD 2008 E450 Front Driveshaft Yoke Removal
Cutaway minibus. Carrier bearing shot. Marked & removed rear drive shaft without issues. Removed bolts for front yoke, cut the bands holding the rubber sleeve to the splined area.
I am unable to separate the front yoke from the transmission, have used a 32 oz ball pein without success. PB Blaster applied. Used a bottle jack & applied upward pressure to the yoke, the yoke did rotate a couple of degrees (the bolt holes were slightly misaligned, more hammering. The front half of the drive shaft remains attached. Due .to restricted area access, not a whole lot of room to swing a BFH.
What am I failing to do or doing wrong?
Any assistance is appreciated.

The solid flange at the transmission output shaft and the attachment of the front half of the drive shaft is where I'm encountering problems
My SD card isn't recognized by my computer so I can't post pictures of the front yoke to transmission picture.

If you replace the carrier bearing, you must make sure you align the single wide spline on the front shaft with the wide slot in the rear drive shaft. If the 2 spline slots don't line up, you will encounter a great deal of resistance. When lined up, the shafts will slide together easily.
