EFI to Carb Conversion - Pros & Cons?
#16
You will be better off to sell that EFI truck and buy something older that suites your knowledge base. I know you would never get the late model truck inspected here if you put on a carb.. You could only sell it for peanuts then too. I like the 60s and 70s trucks. Its a buyers market out there. Take your time and only buy what you really want or keep looking.

Good advice and I've thought about it, I've owned lots of Ford trucks and vans from the early sixties on up. But I happen to be partial to the '92 - '97 F-250/350 body style, and something about the 9th generation trucks drive & ride so well. They just feel tighter than previous generations, and certainly tougher than later ones (no offense, just my opinion!).
