I was going to say the same thing . Buy an older rig and build her to suit your needs !

 

Good advice and I've thought about it, I've owned lots of Ford trucks and vans from the early sixties on up. But I happen to be partial to the '92 - '97 F-250/350 body style, and something about the 9th generation trucks drive & ride so well. They just feel tighter than previous generations, and certainly tougher than later ones (no offense, just my opinion!).

 

Absolutely go with what you like and are familiar with. Save your money and hold out until you are sure what your looking at is a good deal and close or exactly what you want. We have a joke that hold true that amounts to wow I could have built that 7k truck for 20k!
