Fuse Block Help

I have a 78 F150. I keep having problems with my brake fuse blowing, from what I have found the prongs that hold in the fuse have lost their "clamping" power and now there is a spark everytime the brake is pressed. I have wedged in a small piece of plastic on each external each side of the prong to ensure that it has constant tight contact. This seems to remedy it for a while until it slips out. BUT i dont want to have to rely on a small piece of plastic. And its not reliable. Is there a way to remedy this or can I replace just that set of prongs or am I going to have to replace my whole fuse block? If I replace my block I would like to go with the bladed fuses but I am no electrician. So how difficult will that be?

Thanks

NBC_Steve replaced his OEM block with a Painless block which uses ATO fuses. I think if you're patient, organized, and understand what needs to be done then it can be done.
