Blower motor only seems to be working on the 3 & 4 position? Resistor bad? Anyone know the location?

I'd bet on a resistor pack, unless they are using pwm {pulse width modulation} to blip power to the motor. If it is a pack, on older models they were behind the glove box on the left side of the heater plenum, visible if you drop the glove box door. If you have the 'full auto' climate system, it may have a smart box running the blower and diddling with the speed over a wide spectrum using PWM. If you pulse the power, it is almost the same as having fully variable rpm.
If resistor, they are used in series by the switch to add/remove resistance to the ckt, so a missing resistance can affect selectable speeds.
