Fired up the motor this past weekend. Dam it sounds good. Took the radiator in to place that rebuilds them...they said mine is to far gone. Any recommendations on where to buy one? Lots of aluminum ones ebay just not sure on the quality. Also looking for a narrow water pump pulley for a 226 and ignition switch.

Mid 50 has master cylinder/booster set ups for using the original frame mount pedals but they are for 1953-56s. They probably wouldn't fit but I'm betting the same vendor or another vendor makes them for 1948-52s.

This radiator looks 98% brand new. (in and out) It was in a 51 coe project with a rebuilt 289 that never got ran. I used it once or twice with a 226 on an engine run stand. And other than that its just sitting here waiting to get damaged.

I was going to keep it in case i ever needed it but sounds like you could use it more than me, if your still looking?
Send me a pm if interested.
Josh

Well my project has been on hold for over a year and finally getting back into it. I bought a water pump online for a member and ordered a radiator, both are installed. Sent my carb off to national Carb to get it rebuilt. i got to say they do very nice work. Picked up a gas tank this past weekend so hopefully i will have it wired up and moving on its own.

Nope still working on getting all the brake parts. Anyone know where i can get a parts kit for the drums? Ordering cylinders from rockauto.

My buddy just finished complete overhaul on this tractor motor. Used it to move the truck into the shop and ready for some work this weekend.

Bought new shoe from local parts store for 19.99 a set Wearever Shoes part number S33 19.99 a set and not $59 each like NPD wanted. Bought replacement front Cylinder but using rear cylinders out of a 60s F250 cause they were $10 each and not 80 each like NPD wanted. Just ordered glass today from Vintage Glass who is local.

Hi. Been poking in your thread just to encourage you to keep going. Next October I will make 2 years with my truck project, and since I am having some time off, I am fully committed to finish this year... will keep watching your progress!

Hey Sam,
I like your persistence! Keep up the momentum you are getting there....I see daylight....
I like your creativity in scrounging up parts. It took us a while to get our brakes just right...
I'm really looking forward to your first drive video!
