Confusion on ebp sensor

Confusion on ebp sensor

I've been reading on the ebp sensor and I can find on the 95 f super duty but on the e99 it's not there? Do these trucks need the sensor some say no others say yes

I'll bump this thread.

I'd be curious as to whether its absolutely needed either - once the EBPV is disabled/gutted, that is.

does the EPS actually tell the engine anything other than when to operate the EBPV?

That's my ? To I plan on deleting the ebpv so why is the sensor needed.

Pretty sure that some engines will throw a code if they don't see a connection to the sensor. Doesn't actually need a reading from it; just needs to see the connection.
