I just noticed an old thread on the 6.4 diesel forum about the radiator possibly being covered by the 100,000K/5 year warranty after a TSB. It's very confusing, and apparently the information has changed since it was posted back in 2010. My truck is a 2008 F-250 XLT SD 6.4. I have less than probably 3 weeks remaining on the 5 year warranty (still just 76K miles). I just had to have the oil cooler changed. They called me during the repair and told me the radiator tank was leaking on the driver's side down low, and naturally told me it was not covered, and the cost of replacement was $1500. I didn't let them fix it....yet. Quite frankly, it's Christmas, and money isn't just laying around at the moment, and, if it's not covered, I wanted to shop around. Then I saw that old thread. Can somebody please give me an updated 2013 answer about this? I am posting this in both the SD and 6.4 forum because I'm pretty much under a tight time limit with this. So could somebody give me the straight of this, and the documented ammunition I need to show the dealership in case it is possibly covered.
