Semi major mainte

Gentlemen, I need to do some semi major maintenance on my truck this spring and im looking for some experienced advice, suggestions, and a little info.

The first thing on the agenda is new plugs. I will have about 120k by the time I get to it so im expecting some difficulty. Ive researched the how to, here im just looking for the tricks of the trade. What tools or etc. might I need to accomplish this smoother. Does anybody know what size of tap I will need for the spark plug holes? Is there anything else I should replace while I am in there that people typically find bad, or accidentally break while doing this job? Im looking to be able to have what I need going into the job.

The second job is to repair the exhaust manifold leak on the passengers side. Im going to just get a new SS exhaust from headers back and be done with it. Id love to hear about any of those jobs from those of you that have done them. What system, why, the difficulties, etc. And again, while im into that job are there any special tools I may need, any other routine maintenance or things I should look for such as typical problems with the trucks?

Im actually looking forward to getting these jobs done and seeing how these changes will effect my truck. It doesnt run poorly by any means, but its time for some TLC. Thanks in advance for the help guys!
