Question engine compatibility-92 ranger

Would a 92 ranger V6 3.0L engine (taken from a 92 ford ranger) be compatible with a 1994 Mazda B3000? I an unsure if the 92 ranger was a manual or automatic tranny or if that makes a difference. My Mazda B3000 is 5-speed with the Ford Ranger 3.0L v6. I am seeking a replacement engine because I believe my current engine block has warpage which is keeping me from successfully installing a new cylinder head gasket. I had my cylinder heads mag fluxed and machined and was still unsuccessful. I am asking this question because I have found an inexpensive, low mileage, 92 ranger engine. Any thoughts or concerns would be appreciated.

Thanks Ken,
Yeah, it sure does look the same. I will continue to monitor the board for any responses.
I was searching the net last nite and saw a reference book on engine compatability. I was and am hesitant to shell out the $17 they were asking. I am trying to figure out a sly way to fit the question to one of the many auto salvagers on line and who I talk to occasionally. I assume most of them use it or something similar when providing engines to customers.
