I have to go to town tomorrow, I might have time to swing by and look at it if its still there

That's really interesting since the term Ram Air is actually a name by Pontiac for a series of engines. Ford has never used the term as far as I know.

So I just sent him a message on the mustang asking if it was a real 30k miie mustang like his F350 was real with a F250 vin. since ram air is a pontiac engine designation and a REAL ford dealer would actually know that.

Read Rangers first post, the kid replied with....

I sold this truck new, my father owned the dealership we sold it out of. they did make a 78 350. and it is a 4x4 and it is original miles I know for a fact since our dealership has serviced it, its whole life. also if you use a Ford vin decoder It reads exactly what I just said. knowing your information is wrong, would you like to make an offer?
indicating that he was working for a ford dealer.

BTW if you notice he states that HE sold that truck new. But look at the mustang ad and do a google search on his name. he was born in 1991 so HE sold that truck 13 years before he was born? Maybe someone should point that out to him

Ford used the term ram air on the 71-73 mustangs, it was a assembly that was attached to the optional nasa/naca hood.
It was a option that was available on the more high po engines in 71-72 and only 351c 2v in 73
