Riff raff thermostat question

Installing a riff raft 180 degree thermostat and its quite a bit longer than stock is that correct? No bodies answering my calls overthere. Also the gasket goes on top right?

No, I think you need a short stem thermostat with the 95. I think the long stem ones are for 96-97's iirc.

Correct. The long stem 180* thermostat will not work in your '95. If you want to switch to the late model style thermostat, you need to install a '96-up water pump.

Riffraff has a new web site - kind of cool. Anyway it only shows 1 thermostat for the 94-97 OBS trucks which I'm sure is a mistake. Give them a call and leave a message as I'm sure they will get back to you in a timely manner.

anywho they sent me a return sticker to exchange it with the correct one so i just put it back together and wait till they get me the right one. kind of a pain

Does it look like this? This is a long stem thermostat in a short housing.
