Would anyone happen to know the actual weight of the bed and the tailgate? I need to know the weight of a short wheelbase bed.

 

I know two of us were able to lift and install an 8 ft bed. Weren't going to be able to run with it, but carry it and set it on the frame was doable.

 

My guess 300-350, as noted 2 men can walk with one. I have gotten under one that was upside down and lifted it enough to move it 10 feet by myself.

Yeah, my friend and I carried mine into his barn. I just didn't think about what it might weigh when we did. I was just seeing if someone had the actual weight for some reason. I'm trying to set up my pinion angle, suspension and brackets for shocks and wanted to replicate the weight of the bed since my bed is still in his barn 90 miles away. I'll just go with 400 lbs to include some fuel
