I could use some help

I have a '53 panel truck that is being built.
It is missing the door mechanisms/latches on the back doors.
These parts are not available through reproduction venders.
I think that if I had pictures of the mechanisms I could build my own.

I was told the latches are the same or at least similar from 48-56 yrs.

If any of you panel truck owners could take pictures and post them up,
I would appreciate it.

Here are the mandatory pictures of said panel truck

Before.....

After....

Looks like it will be a nice two-tone paint for a panel.... can you show us pics after it is out of the paint shop?

Idea.... a lot of panel doors are in bad shape. You might be able to find a pair cheap to salvage the door latches....

I've got the stuff on my Panel. I'll snap some pictures as soon as it warms up a bit (hopefully it won't be next spring)

In about a month I plan on going to look at a 52 Panel that is in a yard. Not sure if it has the rear doors. If you don't get any by then, I can let you know if I'm successful.

And thanks for the comments on the truck.

I might have 1 or 2 pictures that I can post up.

Mustang II cross member, power disc brakes and power steering.

289, 4 barrel, mild cam, and stubby headers, bolted to an overdrive transmission.

Pictures will help, not sure if you saw what I have to work with......
previous owners removed all the hardware from the back doors.

The doors were kept shut with those little slide latches from the hardware stores.

Yeah, it was difficult to get a good picture with the truck in the paint booth. The booth is a little small.

I haven't been to the shop since the truck is out of the booth, but I do have this picture, that my Brother in law sent me, from a little further back.
