Hi, checking with the Ford Dealer, the front shock bolts are no longer serviced and from what I understand aren't "Ace Hardware" compatible. Does anyone have a source that you use for these.
The ones on my 89 were metric. I'm assuming yours are too. Go to the John Deere website and look in the parts section. Go to "Search for maintenance part information" and in it go to "by part specifications". It will take a little bit to figure it out, but once you do, you can match the size and type of bolt and nut you want and see which local dealer has one. Or just go to one with the old bolt and have them look it up. Is it a 12mm?
They have hardware sources better than anyone. Every size and grade and style of bolt and screw you can imagine. The prices are right and they will sell them one at a time, not by the boxfull only like Fastenal.
