OK I moved to south Carolina have not had chance to update.Radiator cap dennis carpenter 4lb brand new,The reason thermostat is modified when installed building up too much pressure even with new headgasket.Drove 6 miles with cap in loose notched position came home heard air escaping from cap, removed cap and saw antifreeze circulating on top of fins with some bubbles not a lot, truck is running rough and using more gas than usual,I have logged 175 miles since head gasket,Its 60 degrees right now truck is warm but you can see the exhaust when revving,Thanks

I was always under the impression that a little water out of the tail pipe is correct after the combustion process. Not bulk water mind you. I you watch a new car run it will drip water out the tail pipe.

Still no sign of water in the oil?

Is the copper head gasket solid copper, or a sandwich of composition material and copper sheets?

I don't know what you mean? Milling the head doesn't mean you need a different head gasket. Copper head gaskets are notoriously hard to seal. Go back with a FelPro or Best gasket, I bet this stops bleeding.

I use to sell copper gaskets in different thicknesses for Datsun engines .Being an overhead cam ,after milling the head , sometimes you had to compensate for the amount removed . On this app compression issue or head fitment issue ? If a copper gasket is a must , Hi Tac or Copper Cote is needed to seal properly .

Sorry ... If loosing coolant out the tail pipe , It has to be coming from somewhere . Heads proper? Proper gaskets ? Proper install ?Proper coolant flow and temp? Look at the block .

If it isn't the head gasket leaking, I'd vote for a crack in a valve bowl, probably between an intake and exhaust, leaking into both.

A pressure test on the cooling system will tell you quickly. AutoZone and others loan the tool to do this.

Start it up (cap off) and warm it up, shut down, put the water level up to some level you can identify easily. Pressure up to 5 psi. Leave it on for an hour.

If it won't hold pressure, look for water leaking. Be careful, because water may get forced into the cylinders, and cranking it may hydrolock it. So pull the plugs and see which cylinders squirt.
