Dave, I feel for you. Sure, it was 60° there but was the "Breeze chill" factor? Tomorrow it's suppose to be below zero for most of the day with a "Wind chill" factor of -10 or lower.

If you have driven in snow you should know how to handle it. Up by where Needhelp lives it can get a little hairy at times because that's a more rural area, just stay on the interstate as much as possible and you'll do fine.
Thanks! We'll be driving the Golf then. I'm looking forward to seeing your part of the country.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. We've heard nothing but good things about the Mayo. At the risk of sounding too political, I wonder why we Canadians always claim we have the best health care and then go down to the USA when the chips are down. Food for thought...

Hopefully, the ACA/obamacare won't change that and the other great hospitals and great doctors in our great country! It is a scary time right now with people losing health insurance and some doctors retiring or small clinics forced to close....

Sorry about your truck fender it could have been worse.

I know what you mean about hating winter, our high today is 68 deg., women here put on to much cloths when it gets chilly. But this is the time of year to work on our trucks. Summer time here you grab a piece of metal outside it burns your hand

I to am sorry about the dent . Certainly not worth involving an insurance company and winding up with a rate increase . And it is a well established fact that winter sucks . Thats why so many Canadians have winter homes in Arizona and Florida .
