Hello guys its me again and my 1978 f150 puzzle. I have no brackets that come from the frame to the motor mounts my question is are the brackets the same for a 300 6 cylinder as they are for a 302. My donor truck has a 300 in it hence my question.

 

According to the parts catalog they are different. Whether you can make them work or not, I don't know.
The parts catalog says the 300 6 cyl. uses (1) D4TZ-6028-B RH and (1) C5TZ-6029-A LH. The 302 uses (1) D7TZ-6028-B RH and (1) D7TZ-6029-B LH.

 

Hmm any ideas on where I can buy new mounts they can be aftermarket/high performance?
