1956 F100 500 Cadi

Hello all, I own a 1956 F100 currently equipped with a Cadi 500 engine that is not running/missing carburetor . I have no experience with this power plant and would appreciate any input or help in determining if this engine is worth using for my build. Oh, and if you were curious, yes I always have cold beer on hand for those with a helping hand.

Randy, I don't know much about those trucks. You may get some more help from the Early F100 forums. There are some great people on this board that would love to help you with your issue.

Sorry I'm not much help there.

First thing I'd do is ditch the bowtie engine in the blue oval truck. bowties belong in bowties. Blue ovals belong in blue ovals.

I know a blown 460 will fit nicely under the hood of a 56 F100. It's actually one of my all time favorite trucks and if I weren't 6'3 and 270lbs, I'd love to own/drive one.
