Not sure to be honest, i kinda wanna try stuffing into something crazy like a custom buggy or my F150 but i may get a 4bt and use the 4r100 then sell the 5.4l.

Ah thank you I'll note that lol, any ideas on how to remove the exhaust easily with the heavily rusted bolts and crap.

I had replaced mine with headers and true duals so mine weren't too bad but a nice air cutouff tool would fit up there to cut the exhaust off.

got my Gas pump out of the Ex tank and the Diesel pick up temporarily in to save space lol. I have to remove this plastic retension piece by prying it off the bottom of the tank to be able to use my new pick up. Will this plug an play with my set up? its the same plug with two less wires which are obviously the pump power and ground.

Also i got my glowshift gauges in! i posted the pic in the 08 interior thread.

Yes the sending unit should read fine and you will pull power for the new frame mounted pump setup. I had to pry that mounting disk off too.

Roger, makes getting power for the airdog a lot easier.

Man that think was a PITA i scrapped the crap out of my forearm on the opening of the tank and my hand from the plastic breaking lol. I have to vaccum out the inside of the tank there seems to be a tone of little crap in it.

I get my harpoon mod stuff in this Thursday so i will do all the in tank mods then! Tonight i plan to remove the rest of the rivets from the frame on the passenger side and cut the Ex tank Skid Plate so it fits nicely.

Made big progress tonight! well it's a big step at least lol. I got the Ex tank in and awaiting a crossbar to be finalized. It lines up perfectly with the bed bolt holes so if i do some custom bolts for the bed then i will get some long ones that will hold the Ex tank Crossmember on as well.

It took me 2 hours to get the rivets out holding the x brace pieces they were a major PITA i had to drill them out at a 45* angle which took forever and then keep smacking it drilling smaking drilling etc until i got them to break free. I am going to grind them flush and leave them installed and POR over them becasue i cannot get a good angle with a punch on them.

Pics!
