Finally started my York Air today
#16
I didn't do much today. I decided to look for a bigger air tank than what I was originally going to use. What I have now is twin 2 gallon tanks off a portable compressor, giving me 4 gallons. I'd like to find a single one double that capacity or so if possible. Besides that, my friend that was going to come over works for the state and got called in to work on broke down plow trucks. There will be another day.
It will have plenty of uses. It's always nice to have an accessible air compressor at the race track too. It will run tools, maybe not constant, but will work for what I need.

My superduty has two old propane tanks mounted on the outside of frame, up inside the rear bed. I don't think the obs has that kinda room, but just keep looking for another set of compressor tanks on cl or find some tanks off a trailer truck.
Someone's gotta be giving away an old blown up air compressor on cl.

Darin, good work, did you have to modify the cold side pipe of the IC? And where is your pass side battery?
Edit: BTW I see a little missaligned the belt??

Thanks Tim. I appreciate the help.
Thanks Jose. Mike's right, the batteries are on the passengers side frame rail. The belt is not out of alignment, the one picture kind of looks like it, but one of the other ones shows it's aligned fine. The IC tube looked like Glenn's originally, so yes I did move it. I didn't even use the one that came with the S366 to modify as its aluminum. I had a piece to cut up and make a new one to run under the york.

Dumb question, because I can't remember reading it in the past...
Is this just a York a/c compressor or have you put the kit in it to make it an air compressor, or is it originally an air compressor.
I have a couple yorks I've had the kit put into so I can use it for air. Also, isn't there some mod you need to do to lay a standup one on its side, or am I thinking something else. (Note to some people, they made standup and laydown york compressors)
