Also how do I tell if I have the latest calibration? Just trying to figure the basics out in this truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

If the dealer your working with won't give you one then I would find another dealer who will. I am sure another dealer would oblige you if it means you might throw your business there way if you are on happy with the service your getting from your current dealer.

I would try that route, someone is bound to oblige, might cost you the cost of the report but its valuable info to have IMHO.

The latest calibration, I am guessing you mean the latest updates programming wise for your truck... The dealer should have been able to tell you that, if they didnt I would ask for the oasis to see if it has been flashed to the latest update, the oasis report should give you some indication... perfect reason for you to demand one from them

That wild that your dealer wouldn't cough one up.. I agree, get demanding! Its not a national secret! LOL!

I walked in and asked for one after I purchased mine used.. Two minutes and a thank you was all that was needed.

I have tried. The next closest dealership is about 50 min away and not really looking for that long of a trip. I was hoping to find someone on here who could help possibly.

You can always try and see if the dealer that is 50 minutes away would be willing to pull you one and you pay the cost and just ask him to e-mail it or fax it to you or even snail mail it.

I would mention to that dealer thatis 50 min away, that the dealer you dealing with now isn't willing to do this, that may grease them to do it as it may earn them your buisness..which you may want to mention..

You can try and ask around here for a report but I don't know if your going to have much luck and I think it is kind frowned upon if I recall right

On the dealership side that looks like "You have all these tools to do your job more effectively, and I demand that you let me use them!" Think thats really going to work?

Guys,

I have heard of an OASIS report but don't have any idea what information is in it. Can someone tell me what type of data was in an OASIS report that they have received?

Why do the dealers hesitate to provide this report? Is it proprietary info that Ford would like to keep in their pocket in case you have a warranty issue or something?

Thanks

The vehicles warranty repair history is what is in the oasis report. I can't speak for other dealers, but I would suspect that one reason they wouldn't grant a request for a report would be that it might sway a prospective buyer away from the vehicle they are looking to buy if there is a lengthy repair history.
